How Atilex Home Care Services LLC protects your personal and care-related information.
Atilex Home Care Services LLC is a non-medical home care agency located at 145 Tremont Street, Suite 201-1592, Boston, MA 02111. We provide companion care, homemaker services, wellness visits, personal care assistance, transportation coordination, and respite care. We do not provide medical services, clinical care, skilled nursing, or emergency services.
To coordinate non-medical home care services, we collect personal information including your name, contact details, home address, emergency contacts, and general care preferences. We may also collect information about functional needs (such as mobility or daily routine) to assign appropriate caregivers. We do not collect or store medical records, diagnoses, lab results, or treatment information.
We use your information to: (1) coordinate and schedule caregiver visits; (2) communicate with authorized family members and emergency contacts; (3) prepare visit summaries and care notes; (4) bill for services rendered; and (5) comply with applicable Massachusetts law. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to third parties.
Access to your personal information is limited to Atilex staff involved in coordinating your care, caregivers assigned to your home, and authorized family members or contacts you designate in writing. We do not share information with medical providers, insurance companies, or government agencies unless required by law.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) generally applies to covered entities such as hospitals, physicians, and health insurance companies. As a non-medical home care agency, Atilex is not a HIPAA-covered entity. However, we are committed to protecting your personal information with the same level of care and discretion, and we comply with the Massachusetts Data Security Regulations (201 CMR 17.00).
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Access to client information is restricted to authorized personnel only. All staff are trained on privacy and confidentiality obligations before beginning work.
You have the right to: (1) access personal information we hold about you; (2) request correction of inaccurate information; (3) request deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational requirements; and (4) withdraw authorization for specific uses of your information.
