Policies, standards, and expectations for all Atilex Home Care caregivers.
Welcome to the Atilex Home Care Services team. This handbook outlines our expectations, policies, and the standards that define our care. Every caregiver represents Atilex in the homes of our clients and their families.
We provide compassionate, professional non-medical home care that helps seniors and adults remain safely and independently at home. Our values: Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Respect.
Atilex provides non-medical home care only. Caregivers must not provide medical advice, administer medications as a medical act, perform nursing procedures, or make medical assessments. For emergencies, instruct clients to call 911.
All Atilex caregivers must pass a Massachusetts CORI criminal background check before starting. Renewal is required every two years. Falsifying information is grounds for immediate termination.
Caregivers should dress professionally and appropriately. Wear your Atilex ID at all times during visits. Maintain client confidentiality. Do not share client information with anyone outside the agency.
Use the Caregiver Portal to clock in and out of every visit. Clock in when you arrive and clock out before leaving. If you experience technical issues, call the office immediately at +1 (339) 356-2273.
Any incident — fall, injury, unusual behavior, or emergency — must be reported to the office immediately by phone. Complete an incident report within 24 hours. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 first, then notify the office.
All client information is strictly confidential. Do not discuss client details with family members not listed as authorized contacts. Never photograph clients without written consent. Violations may result in termination and legal action.
